Most physical or capacitive keys and buttons, including volume controls, some help buttons, and capacitive keys for home, back, and recent apps, can be remapped using Button Mapper. Additionally, Button Mapper can remap the buttons on a variety of gamepads, remote controls, and other accessories.
HOW ITS WORK:
Most operations don’t require root, but some do, if they aren’t rooted, require an adb command from a connected PC. When the screen is off, Button Mapper won’t function unless you have rooted your device or run an adb command.

Troubleshooting:
-Verify that the accessibility service for Button Mapper is turned on and permitted to operate in the background. The most recent version of Button MapperThe power button and onscreen buttons (such the navigation bar or soft keys) are incompatible with Button Mapper.
-The buttons on your phone determine which options are displayed in the app. Not every phone has buttons for home, back, and recents!
Accessibility services are used by this app. The purpose of accessibility is to identify when your device’s capacitive or physical buttons are pressed so that they can be remapped to activities that are specific to your needs. You can’t see what you type with it. Your privacy is protected, as Button Mapper doesn’t gather or share any personal information.
CONCLUSION:
If the “Turn screen off” action is selected, this permission is used to lock the screen. Open Button Mapper, click the menu (three dots in the top right corner), and choose “Uninstall” to get rid of this privilege.
